The ancestral 16th century homestead "Casa del Conde" (The Count's Residence) is considered a charming villa because of its architecture and its privileged surroundings, ideal for tourism within a unique atmosphere.
The house is located facing the beautiful village 'plaza'. From it you will savour the rural atmosphere, the company of this small village's neighbours, their daily life - Mass hour, the flea-markets, the errand's strolls, the elder's gatherings for conversation. In short, everything goes around the plaza! And a bit later on, you take 'las once' (wine and tapas).
If you feel like visiting the village, you can drop by the Church or the Convent - you will always find someone to chat with on your way. Are you enjoying a nice and shiny day and your kids are asking for a walk? Take them on a promenade through the nearby 'sierra' (hills). And don't forget to take your camera with you! From there you can contemplate. well, you better climb those hills to see for yourself!
Perhaps you are in the mood for a calmer stroll through the countryside. Easy. Head to the 'dehesas' (meadows) and pick some wild asparagus, golden thistles or whatever you may find for your eating delight!
Do you feel like a quick escapade throughout Extremadura? No problem. You are staying in the very heart of the region! In some thirty minutes by car, you can drive along nice roads to Cáceres, Trujillo, Mérida, Guadalupe, Monfragüe National Park or even to the Swamps area.

Five double-bedrooms - each with its own bathroom, the Count's living room equipped with a chimney, a breakfast-nook attached to a fully-equipped kitchen, an exterior sitting room oriented to the village 'plaza' - you can see the children playing from it-, a cosy dining-room to enjoy a quiet table-talk and a gorgeous courtyard.
