| | | | | El Pazo de Esposende es una construcción de principios de siglo XVI y se encuentra ubicado en pleno corazón de la Comarca vitivinícola del Ribeiro, a orillas del río Avia, poco antes de que este muera en el Padre Miño.
Forma parte del rico pasado de Ribadavia, conocida desde siempre por sus famosos vinos y su abundante riqueza monumental, natural y paisajística; un pasado que ha dejado, además de casas hidalgas y nobles pazos, iglesias, capillas, santuarios y conventos.
El Pazo de Esposende alberga en sus dependencias restaurante donde se puede degustar la gastronomía de la zona, una bodega con los exquisitos vinos de la Comarca, salón con chimenea para reuniones de empresa, sala TV, jardín y acceso para minusválidos.
Cuenta con 10 habitaciones dobles especiales con baño, TV por satélite y teléfono.

| | | | | OUR COUNTRY MANOR
The PAZO DE ESPOSENDE is located in the beautiful village of Esposende, in the O Ribeiro region. It is an early 16th century building, but is in excellent condition, and has all it requires to ensure guests enjoy complete comfort.
Our country manor is part of the rich past of Ribadavia, which has always been distinguished for its wines and its wealth in monuments, nature and landscapes.

The hotel accommodates 23 guests and has 10 double suites with bathroom. All rooms are fully equipped for your comfort, rest and relaxation. Four of these rooms have a terrace, one has a lounge, and one room has disabled access. These spacious, comfortable rooms are all equipped with Internet, telephone, television and hair dryer.
There are three extra folding beds and a cot available.

USEFUL TOURIST INFORMATION
The medieval town of Ribadavia is the capital of the emblematic and historic region of Ribeiro. It is located to the south of Galicia, half way up the Miño River, 15 minutes from Ourense and 35 minutes from Vigo. You can easily access these cities via the Rías Baixas Motorway.
Its historic quarter -declared "Cultural Property"-, is formed by typical Medieval streets, Sarmiento castle, the Jewish quarter, museums and old churches, as well as beautiful landscapes and river beaches that make this town a small, magical and historic world of its own.
Carballiño is a land that revolves around water, both on the surface and underground, with famous thermal spas and countless streams that bathe the countryside. Veracruz Church is a symbol of the region, a delicious mixture of Byzantine, Gothic, Romanesque and Pre-Romanesque elements.
Beade takes pride in its country manors and the parish church with architectural remains dating from Romanesque times to the present day. Inside, there are interesting altarpieces, and wonderful Stations of the Cross which start at the church vestibule and end at the chapel of San Roque, where we can see "Calvary". Its arable land is mainly used for vineyards, which produce the most famous wines of the Ribeiro region.
Castrelo do Miño is located on the left bank of the Miño River, on the road leading from Ourense to Ribadavia. It is well worth visiting the Sta. María de Castrelo de Miño Church, a Baroque reconstruction of the old Romanesque building with splendid views. The most important tourist attraction is the water sports resort located at the reservoir.
Other interesting sites in the surrounding area are Leiro, Avión, Caballeda de Avia, Melón and Ourense.
ACTIVITIES
At Ribadavia you can enjoy many water sports (kayaking, rowing, sailing, windsurfing...) in the Avia River or at the Castrelo yacht club. You can also enjoy the river beaches of A Veronza, a magnificent river beach and recreation area with all kinds of services and water activities, close to the historic centre of Ribadavia or Las Pozas de Francelos -a beautiful place containing pools with crystal-clear waters and small waterfalls (1 km from Ribadavia), in the Outeiro River.
There are other river beaches in Ribeiro such as: the fluvial area of the Valderías River, in Avión; the recreation area of the Inquiau River, in Arnoia; the river beach of the Avia River, in Leiro, or the yacht club in Castrelo de Miño, in Pozas de Melón.
If you prefer mountains and nature, we recommend you go hiking on mythical medieval routes, such as the "Wine History and Romanesque Route", or go climbing in the megalithic site of Peña Corneira, do routes on mountain bike, go cycling or simply admire the landscape. Lastly, you can sail aboard a catamaran on the Miño River through stunning, idyllic scenery.
Esposende Manor House is an early XVI Century building situated in the heart of the Ribeiro wine producing area, near the banks of the Avia river.
It belongs to the great history of Ribadavia, known for centuries for its famous wines and its abundant monumental, natural and scenic wealth.
This past has left behind not only noble houses and mansions but also beautiful churches, chapels, sanctuaries and convents.
Esposende Manor House contains within its tourist complex a restaurant where one can sample the gastronomy of the region, a wine cellar with exquisite wines from the area, a lounge complete with fireplace for business meetings, a T.V. room and a garden, plus facilities for the disabled.

Das attraktive Haus wurde im traditionellem Baustil Galiziens errichtet und bietet alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Für den Gast stehen zehn große und komfortable Zimmer zur Verfügung.
Für Ihre Entspannung bietet sich eine Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten an. So ist z.B. ein Besuch der Thermen von Carballiño, Arnoia, Verán oder Partovia sehr lohnenswert und entspannend. Beim Fischen im Fluß Avia können Sie in absoluter Ruhe die herrliche Natur genießen.
